How to record your screen with audio in Chrome

Open the Video tab in Eofent Capture, choose what to record and what sound to take with it, then press record. When you stop, the take opens in the Video editor. There is no watermark.

7 STEPS · CHROME AND EDGE

  1. 1Open the Video tab

Open Eofent Capture and choose Video in the popup.

The Video tab in the popup
  2. 2Choose what to record

Record This Tab starts at once, with no picker. Record screen or window opens the browser's own picker. Record an area of this tab lets you drag a rectangle on the page.

  3. 3Choose the sound

Pick Tab or screen sound, Microphone only, Tab sound and microphone, or No sound.

    GOOD TO KNOW

The first time you use the microphone, accept the browser's prompt.

  4. 4Do your thing, then press Stop

The toolbar badge says REC while it records. Open the popup to pause, resume or stop.

    GOOD TO KNOW

On a free account a take saves automatically at 10 minutes, so it is never lost.

  5. 5Trim the take in the Video editor

The take opens in the Video editor. Move the playhead and press S to split, then select a part and press Delete to take it out.

  6. 6Open Save, then Export

The export panel opens over the editor.

  7. 7Pick a format and press Export

MP4 is a good choice for most clips. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
