Eofent Language

A language course that lives on your phone

A real dictionary, tens of thousands of graded sentences and a spaced repetition schedule, all installed on the device. No account, no connection, nothing uploaded. In development, and the waitlist is where you hear when it is ready.

Learning that works without an internet connection.

A language learning app that keeps the dictionary, the sentences and your review history on your device. No account to make and no connection to wait for. Still being built, and the waitlist is where you hear first.

What it is

Most language apps are a thin screen in front of a server. The lesson is fetched, the answer is sent away to be checked, and the app is exactly as good as the connection.

Eofent Language does the work on the device. A real dictionary, a real spaced repetition engine and a sentence corpus written for the product, all installed with it.

Three things it gets right

Offline by design

The dictionary, the sentences and the review schedule live on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to make a lesson work, and no account is needed to use what is installed.

Sentences written for it, and graded

Tens of thousands of bilingual sentences authored for this product, each labelled with its CEFR level, A1 to C2, and the grammar it teaches. Not scraped from anywhere.

A real review algorithm

Spaced repetition on FSRS, with every review kept in a local database. Vocabulary, grammar and sentence work feed one queue, not three.
